Is the '03 Mustang GT 4.6L V8 the same as the '04? I am looking to get an intake cheap, but it is for an '03. Is the engine the same?

yeah it is i have a 04. alot of mods they sell say 03 but they work for 04. its the same thing. i think my mass air kit might of said it was for 02 and 03. but its the same. but when u get a x pipe lol. get 02 sensor extensions becasue they changed the sensor positions from 03 to 04. im telling u this cause no one told me and i had to wait a week after i installed my X to get the wires. but other than that every thing is the same.

I asked a seller on ebay about this, and he said that no, the '03 intake will not fit the '04. Not saying you guys do not know what you are talking about, but why am I getting so many different answers?

well mines on there . what kinda intake are u talking about. because alot of things dealers sell say 02-04. its the same car. same part #s what was his reason for it not fitting. did he say something was bigger or smaller not there. why dont u call and ask the maker of what ever intake you are buying and ask them.

Here is a pic. They guy said it was for '03. He wasn't sure if it will fit.

they havent changed the engine since 99 dude...it will fit

yep. except the bullit gt, which uses a cobra intake pipe
