spark advance and cams
after i installed my cams i got a a/f down the road tune on my diablosport i checked and noticed they didnt touch the spark advance which i set at 6 in the low end and 6.5 in the top end i was at the track a couple weeks ago and i took a pass with spart at 9 i got a bad launch but had great trap 105 or 106mph if i remember correct but the car shook really bad so i took it back down to 6 the next day a damn plug came out of the head for some reason im wondering what people are running w/cams or if it even makes a difference

Just remember what cam you are running...XE-262? Those style cams have atleast a 4* advance in timing on the lobes. So when you add another 6 or 6.5 your really running 10-10.5 advanced. That's just too much. Back it down. When your engine gets hot on the higher rpm's you don't want to run it lean by creating more advance like I think you are doing. Be careful with that stuff. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure the stockers will work fine. Pull your plugs out and see if they're dirty. If so your running a little rich. And I believe if the'yre white your lean, I forget which color they turn. I don't see why advancing your timing with the cams would mess up your car. If you use 93 octane, you could bump it up to 14 degrees.

RE: spark advance and cams
IF... you get no Knock... Remember, it's not so much the maximum amount of degrees of Timing advance you can run.. It's the A/F Ratio that determines how much of a Spark advance you can throw at it... Always start out conservative, and then bring it on...
