I was thinking about getting 10" stripes for my mustang and was wondering which you guys thought look better. I have the stock hood scoop on my mustang and don't really like how the 10" straight stripes look on the hood. My car is black and I was thinking about getting the "charcoal metallic" stripes that taper in on the hood like on the baltimorestreetmods.com show car with out the white pin stripes. What do you guys think or do you have any other sugestions or ideas.

Your car looks awesome. I have looked all over the internet and that is the best looking striped Mustang I have seen. Are those painted or Vinyl?

I think it would look cool with the charcoal metalic as long as u got them as wide as red 5 has his. Where did u get ur hood from, that scoop is huge?

Thats not my car. I have a stock hood. That is the baltimorestreetmods.com show car. I was just using it as an example because I thinking about getting the same stripes. But, I think Red 5 changed my mind.

Looking at your name I guess your in OK. I too live in OK and I had mine done by Lettering Express in OKC. They had never put stripes on a stang before mine so the quoted me $200 including the vinyl. When I went to pick it up they said they would honor the quote but the would never do it again for less than $400. It took one guy 8 hours to do it. They did it right though. They took off the hood scoop and layed the stripes across the hood, then on the scoop, then replaced the scoop. The same goes for the spoiler.

no sorry to say i dont live in oklahoma i wish i did though im acually in kansas
ive got a guy at work who used to own a body shop for like23 years of so and he said he would do it for next to nothing so i think im going to have him do it he sent me to this one place to see if they would do it and they quoted me the 550 and he said that was outragouse so i think hes going to do it for me

where is the best place to get the vinel and what golor should i go with on my silver stang if i do it
