Default Want to buy 4.10 gears??

I want the diablo sport tuner but dont want the gears right now because I dont have the cash for the install and better tires. I was just wondering if I bought the Combo and posted the gears on e-bay if anyone would be interested. I will sell the gears with the bearing kit that you recieve for $200 plus shipping (not inflated shipping, whatever it actually cost). Then after I sell the gears I will have enough cash to buy my o/r H and have it installed. If anyone is interested then after I post the gears on E-bay I can send you a PM just let me know here on the thread or PM me with any questions also my e-mail is streethuzla@yahoo.com . also my e-bay seller ID is 1youcantrust just in case you want to look at my 100% feedback, I am not out to get anyone, I treat and do bussiness with others as I would want them to do with me. thanks for your interest!

I was thinking about that too, but just asking anyways in case I sell the gears. I want the gears but everyone says you need good tires to hook up right with 4.10's. i have an AUTO tranny and a convertible so im not sure if that applies to me or not. I really dont have the money for those really expensive tires right now, i only pay $81 a tire right now for cheap hancooks but they ride real nice (edgeracing.com the best deals on tires imo). How much of a difference is the Diablo, does it help, if so then maybe i will keep the gears for later and just have fun with the tuner for a while.

you can fit 275 series rubber on the back if you want (stock) any wider tire should help. plus your a vert and an auto, so your one of the slowest new edge GTs out there

since i am one of the slowest gt's out there i am very desperate for the gears, i bet it is a huge difference, and since it is soo heavy i probly dont really need wider tires because that stupid vert motor is already slamming the car to the ground with its weight....i am actualy going with 275's but right now i have 245's and 2 of them are brand new, so i was gonna save some money by just buying two more and then swap them out after their fried.

good question silver. I would also like to know, but i think it is just the weight, they are a lot heavier then coupe's and I'm not sure on this but someone told me with every 10lbs is a tenth of a second. Don't know if it is true and cant even remember who told me lol..but please correct me if i am wrong. I also have a auto transmission that doesnt help...lol

how do you run 12's with a stock 5.o block, i am assuming that you are just letting people know you didnt do an engine swap right? and all that power was built onto the stock motor right?
