Default Window track adhesive

I just got back from the local Mustang guru's shop and found the problem with my window. The glass on one side at least, is coming completely out of it's track. What Bob didn't know, was how to keep it from happening. He said that there should be some sort of adhesive that holds the glass into the track, but he didn't know what is used. Anyone here know?

I'm gonna take it to a glass-specific shop tomorrow, just thought you guys could settle my curiosity at least.

As far as I know it would be better to replace the whole track assembly (as I found out myself today) this assembly can be bought at the dealership. As I am told once it is warped or loose (or broken) you must replace the whole thing.[:@] (the two pieces that rus down and across)

mine did the same thing,(passenger side). took off door panel & used a clear silicon. pulled up the window a little, squirted a bunch of silicon in the track, pushed the window back down into the track, put door panel back on & it's fixed. didn't roll down the window for 24 hours. problem fixed.
