can i just buy a yellow led lite and hook it up to my purge line and make it purge yellow or can u not do that..??

I'd think you could. It'd have to be inline like mine is. I have the Zex Show Purge Kit, but it came with the light which is green. you could always buy a 12 volt dc light from radio shack or osmething like that. Just put it inline with the solenoid. You should have 1 wire to ground and 1 wire hooked to the solenoid wire.

Looks like all they have is red, green, and blue.

You can hook one up to the positive and ground the other side like an indicator light. You'll lose at least 0.7V if you wire it inline. Either get an LED with an internal resistor or buy a 3.6k ohm resistor (or there abouts) to go in series with the LED.

Damn forgot about the resistor, lol my bad. I didn't mean inline, I realized I corrected myself later in my post about 1 to pos(solenoid side) 1 to ground. The Zex light comes with a built in resistor.
