Cool deal. I guess I bought mine from Advanced Auto and they had the load tester there that worked on the optima just fine. Either way, I'm glad the new new one worked out for you.

I had exact same problem in my sport trac last week ..... killed one battery and now died again .... tested alt and battery good.



BAD CONNECTION Double check your connection on the battery sounds stupid but trust me i used to have a probe and it did it 2-3 times a month light would flicker alarm would go off....... its very common in fords i believe
