You guys might think I'm full of chit but I don't think I need DRs..

Last night, in cool weather, I ran the car from a dig about 5 times and was able to put it to the floor in 1st every time and catch traction.. 2nd, 3rd & 4th were the same way.. I had 0 wheep hop, 0 spin and 0 troubles what so ever in 1st.. @ the top of 1st it feels like its on the edge of breaking them loose but then I hit 2nd and its all traction.. More time will tell but from what I have seen so far I'm thinking I can stick w/ what I got..

I'm currently running Ventus Sport K104s, 275/35/ZR18s

Car looks GREAT; very very clean, too. Can I ask; is that cobra motor more suited for boost? I am just asking because that seems to be a lot of HP for a stock motor... am I being over conservative?

nice a/f run thru boost. looks like you have a good tuner. hopefully you can get that power to the ground. that thing has got to be a monster.

The reason you aren't loosing too much traction may be because of the IRS....It's probably keeping your wheels planted to the ground despite making launches a bit more gentle...

In first gear, with my pedal to the floor even from a 15 or 20 roll, my tires spin the entire time until second gear....Damn Yokohama 245's [:'(]

On the first pull the car hit 431 WHP.. After about 5-6 more pulls and adjusting it came out to the 456 WHP..

-Is it more suited for boost? Yes, according to my installer and tuner.. The 4V respond better to boost..

-Is 456 alot of HP for a stock 99 Cobra motor? Ummm... Well... I'll be able to better answer that when/if I blow it up.. I was told by my tuner, whom I trust, that motor will run @ 400 WHP for a 100k miles.. I've read thew the grape vine that the motor run 500+ WHP but your taking a chance..

So,

Conserative....................................... . Me......................................... 500 WHP
