Default Autopsy of the Silver Bullet

I went over to my friends house, (who I sold the car to), tonight to help with the dismantle of the "Bullet's" internal organs.

I must give kudos to the GT bottom end. Even after running an "atomic bomb" tune and 14 psi on a KB FI factory 4.6, it was not a rod or piston that let go. Well, it wasn't a rod or piston that initiated the self destruction of the motor.

Chalk up the destruction to a dropped valve on #5.

That in turn transformed the #5 piston into shrapnel and caused the #5 rod to explore the open space outside of the block. They tell me that's a bad thing.

I'll try to get some pics of the carnage.
