RE: how do you insall a B&M shifter
B&M short throw?
shouldnt be too hard, unless its different from the one I installed on my 92.
There was no directions with it?
Well, if not it cant be too much different then on my car I think.
So just try and pry off the plastic surrounding the shifter, then unscrew the *** and remove the boot.
Then unbolt your top part of the shifter handle, and remove the rubber block thing
and just keep unscrewin stuff til you make it down to your tranny.
Once you unbolt everything you may want to bolt your top part of the shifter handle along with the *** back onto the lower half so you can break the sealant a bit easier.
scrape off the remaining RTV sealant that was on your original shifter
then apply some new crap to it
plop on your new shifter bolter down
set the stops for 3rd n 4th gear
and just reverse what you did from before
