Default Timing Adjuster

Will the Steeda timing adjuster work on stock underdrive pulleys, or do they have to be Steeda underdrive pulleys? I saw a comment somewhere on here that maybe hinted at that, so it made me wonder. And also, what kind of gains can you get from bumping the timing up to 14 degrees (I heard that was the limit before pinging, but worked good)? I saw one place say 10 hp, and another place say 2 tenths in a quarter mile.

Stock underdrive pulleys?

The Steeda timing adjuster will bolt onto the stock balancer or the Steeda balancer either one.

Sorry, stock pulleys, or mainly, stock harmonic balancer. I got ahead of myself. Anyways, what kind of gains are we talking?

Oh, about 8-10 rwhp I'm told. It will also increase your gas mileage. I have the pulleys and the TA both, and my mileage bumped up to 21 city from 17. You'll have to stop using 87 if you advance the timing. Stock is 10 degrees and the TA allows you to add another 4 for a total of 14 degrees advance. Steeda recommends 91 or 93 octane. I'm running 89 and have not had any issues.
