Hello... I have an 03 GT. Currently it has MAC full length headers, MAC prochamber, weld in flowmasters, and a K and N cold air kit.
It currently runs a 13.78 at 99.78 mph on Mastercraft 285s.

I'm car # 66. My buddy was on the left in a 96 GT with similar mods + 4.10 gears. Needless to say he sold the car and bought a mean *** fox body.


I just got my FRPP 4.10s in!


What differences can I expect at the track going from 3.27s to 4.10s... what kind of gains did you guys notice?
I'm thinkin i might need to break down and get some drag radials too to take full advantage of the gear.

dont know from experiance but ive heard like 4 tenths or so, but dont quote me on that

i think you could get really close to the 13.0 mark with dr and a better 60' time

hmm.. well i dont know... i was hoping for at least a 13.5 on the same tires... who knows..

Anyone else with experience?

i just went yesterday and i have a 03 gt. 5 speed. all i have done to it is full length headers off road h and flowmasters and i was on a pair of street slicks and i ran a 13.7. i came out at around 5k and i have stock gears . so really you will be close to the 13.0 if you can hook good. its all about the traction. just do some suspention work and when you hook up you will do wonders.

like a champ. 4k was too little it would come out like a raped date then it would bog and i would turn a 14.2. i come out at 5 i get a small amount of spin for like .3 seconds then it just keeps going and i turn a 13.7 and a 13.8.

cool... I wasn't taking off nearly that hard, which i wasn't on drag radials either. What kind of rubger you runnin? how much did u heat them up ?

im on m/t et streets. with 18 pounds of air. dont be afraid to break your car. i was coming out at 2500 untill my friend said try 5k. his dad used to be a pro racer and told his other friend to come out. i was leary at first. i went from 2500 to 3500. then i would bring it up to 4k then 4500 then i tried 5k and it was the best. just give it a try. when i did my burn out i didnt have it in 1st. i would roll in the water then stick it in 2nd and smoke em pretty good for a bout 15 seconds or unless i wanted to show off to the ladies in the stands i would hold it for a lil bit longer. there was some hot girls in the stands so i wanted to make it look like i knew what i was doing.

haha... to impress the ladies u say.. haha... Well I may try a few more RPM's.. I just hate the thought of a 3650 falling out of my car haha.

You ever seen anyone break at launch like this?
