I just installed mine this summer, HARD, not simple at all. Luckly my uncle has his own shop behind his house, and my two best friends are mechanics.... Shops will charge u for like 8hrs of Labor, it took us 12(first time). Soo, unless you have a lift, and drop the tranny and engine a bit, Good luck....

got my gears, prolly doing them next week, takes a ford tech about 2 hours, so i figured it would take me atleast 16, as far as exhaust goes im gettin flowmaster 50's and an o/r xpipe for about 300, but figured i might as well do the headers at the same time if possible

I paid $450 for the header install. Money well spent. Just a word of advice on the gears. If you are off just a tiny bit, you will get a whine that will ultimately drive you insane. Good luck.

As long as you can figure out the fundamentals of how a wrench works and read the below link ANYBODY can do it.

Damn thats a good write up. Go pictures too... I installed mine without take out the k-member, I just had to jack up the motor one side at a time. But hell, taking the k-member up really makes it open, you cna install the headers in 5 minutes after you take the k-member off. I should have done it like that. Looks alot easier, and less frustrating.
