Is anyone able to tell me how to STOP that annoying chime when you open the door and leave your keys in????? I'm trying to work on my stang with the radio on and it is driving me INSANE!

Perhaps there is a fuse you can remove though my car did not come with the manual but i have a Haynes manual but the ding-dong is not listed here! Check your owners manual if you have one. mark

i wouldnt recomend playing around with wireing anything while you have the battery connected, i usualy use a boom box when working on my car.

Yeah, I looked...so such luck....I really need it to stop...I'm going to be showing the car and want the doors open and keys in....

Hope someone has an answer to this cause it bugs the hell outa me too when I'm cleaning the inside of the car. You would think the stupid chime would stop after a few seconds.

yea they are really annoying but that means there doing thier job, the chimes have saved me from leaving the keys in the ignition or leaving the lights on. but im sure there is some way to turn it off..

If you have the key in the "ON" position, w/headlights off, it SHOULD quit after a few seconds. If you have it in ACC (key rotated back toward ya) than it will keep chiming. If that doesn't work find something to push the button by the door hinges.
