Default Intake question?LOOK

i heard from a friend that you can get rid of your plastic P.I intake by swapping it out with one from a Bullitt or Mach 1. Is this true?and if so which one is that fits and is alum.?

you can put a Bullit intake on there, but not a Mach 1.....for the money that the aftermarket intakes cost, IMO its not worth it unless you have P&P heads, cams, and all the other goodies.....

The only after market maifold for the 2V I was able to find was the Professional Products Typhoon one and the Fox Lake P-51 intake manifold. The Typhoon will run you around $500 and the P-51 will run you around $1300, and with the P-51 you'll have to get a new intake system to work with it, but I am pretty sure you can use the stock hood with it though, with minor modification.

Well unless you are constantly popping your hood to show people whats under it...it shouldn't matter how the engine looks
