How old is it? Where did you buy it? Take it back for a replacement or buy one...

That sucks, but it happens. You're better off spending the money and rollin on 4 safe tires...

Hey you know all the pro's tell me that unless you have drag tires its pointless to burn out before you run. Here is the ultimate secret for perfect tire pressure and temp:

Get a laser temp gun and drive your car for like a half hour. Then shoot the inside and both outsides of the tread of the tire and it should all be the same temp. If the inside is hotter than lower the pressure. If the inside is cooler then raise the pressure. Record that average temp and thats the optimum temp for you tires. Go down the 1/4 once WITHOUT burning out and then RIGHT AWAY pull over and if your temp is lower than the optimum temp you recorded than you need to burn out once or twice really quick to get them up to temp. All you're ever doing by sitting there and doing those big smoke burn outs is wasting away rubber on expensive tires.

What happened to me except my bubble was on the fornt left tire. I was trying to get until payday and front left tire BLEW out. Get it changed ASAP.... You might go 1 mile you might go 1000 miles. Better safe than sorry.

replace the tire immediatly. If you have never had a blowout at highway speeds you don't know what your missing (and you don't want to know).

What kind of tires are you looking for? if you can afford to replace the rears about every 10k nitto makes a great drag radial for the street and strip.

i used to work at a tire shop. when we had the bubble tires i never understood it so i looked at the tire for about 10 min when we got it in. dismounted it then looked over the inside of the tire. what causes the bubble is a cut on the inside of the tire. so it forces the outside out. the steel belts are gone on the side wall. you will be lucky to get another 100 miles out of it.
