Default MSD ignitions

Has anyone ever used an after market ignitions system such as MSD or Jacobs? If so, did it make a difference?

Default RE: MSD ignitions

The stock ignition on the PI4.6 is very similar to the MSD...multi-spark up to about 3k rpm. And, the stock ignition is fairly powerful. Unless you're planning on some mega high cylinder pressures, don't waste your money.

Now, if you had an older car, you'd definitely notice a difference.
