The only problem that a lot of people have with Flowmasters is the drone from 2000-22000 RPM up on the highway. I personally don't mind it.
22000? Damn, how'd you know that, you must have a Formula 1 engine in your car, to be getting that high....

I have both. :B. All I can say is my setup is loud, since you want it to be really deep I'd say just switch the X to an H. I love my setup to death. The only time I can say it sounds raspy is when I start off in too high of a gear. I get a sort of "gurgle" noise when i let off the throttle, I only get backfire when I rev it up too high. I guess that "gurgling" noise I said earlier might possibly be considered a rasp. At WOT it sounds like I have an H pipe in there.

Not too sure. I dont know much about the prochamber to be honest. I used to want an H then last second I bought an X and that's all I looked at. The LT's wont do too much for the sound I beleive. I mean..it'll make it louder of course but I'm not too sure that'll it be anything really significant like a new midpipe or catback.

chambered mufflers create the deep, low tone you're looking for. i don't think borla's would be the best choice if you mainly want that sound.
