Default which flywheel ?

I have a v8 99 m5 stang ..I don't know which flywheel fits my car ??

1- Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel, 4.6L, 6 Bolt Crank (12 lbs)
2- Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel, 4.6L, 8 Bolt Crank (12 lbs)

the 6 Bolt or 8 ?? what is the difference !!

two different manufacturing plants... but most of the 2vs i've ever seen, the 4.6s anyway, use the 6 bolt

find out where your engine was manufactored, windsor or romeo

You have a 6-bolt crank. only cars with the steel cobra-style crank use the 8 bolt

I stand corrected. Sorry for giving out misinformation. I'm sure there is a way to check which plant manufactured your car via the Vin number.
