1st gear in the 3650 will take you up to about 40 mph i think. my question is why do you want longer gears?
I was wondering that myself i like to get out of first asap (at least when racing). But my first gear is useless without drag radials

4.10's + lots of bolt on torque= unusable 1st gear

Hey Brute03,

Yes, I wanted longer gears as a psych approach when racing.

ie: when my opponenet sees that Im immediately ahead of him off the line, I want that to play with his mind and have him second guess his own racing capabilities.

If your not going with F/I you're probably best off with 4.10s as they will put you in the proper power band quickly and keep you there in the 1/4 mile. You may need drag radials or slicks, but thats the name of the game. You don't see marathon runners without the proper shoes.
