We get Traction Lok as the stock diff. In a true posi rear end, both tires move the same direction, at the same rate, ALL the time. When a car equiped with one takes a turn, one tire will always squeal a little.

it is not a base model stock feature, it's an option.


Look at the little metal label on your diff cover. It will say something like ( # X ##) on mine it says (3 L 27) which means 3.27 gears with L for Limited slip


definitely a nice thing to have

it was either get my 97 gt for 4 grand..or a mach 1 for 18..i wanted the mach 1..but imr eally happy with my 97..i get looks all the time and its way better than a sentra..next car will be a faster more expensive one ( cobra, mach 1, saleen ) im only 19 so im glad im driving a mustang at a young age.

if your doing the one wheel peel you need a rebuild...its a good time to upgrade if you can afford it. Beefier axles, better diff.
