Which wire for tach

RE: Which wire for tach
I looked at dips 1, 2, 3 and they are all down. if you're looking at the light to the left and reading the 1,2,3 they're all in the same position. So you should have only 3 dip switches. I did notice it says, ON, above all the switches, with 1,2,3 at the bottom. Flip them all down away from ON. And then try and see if the light works and them comes on at your specified rpm range.

Are you getting any lights at all?
Re-check the ground, the power and the tach light. The power is a switched wire(specified in the instructions) I thought it was constant, but that'd be stupid, lol.

You only have 3 wires out of the raptor light right? Make sure the green wire is on pin 26 and the red wire is tapped to pin 144 I think kit is. Double check the gorund wire and if you used those stupid *** clips they give you to splice into the wire, I guarantee that's your problem. They don't splice right have the time, a couple things, either cut the wire and splice it right with butt connectors. That's what I did. I just don't trust those connectors they give you.

I been using this and tapping to a different harness than the one used to splice into for the tach should I splice into the same harness using the red wires. For test purposes I havent even used the splices I just tapped into the wire to wire

Not sure what you mean about tapping into a different harness. Just use the one they specify. Tap into the lines and splice them right. You'l be fine. You can peel enough of the black tape away from the harness wires to get more leverage on the wires to cut and strip.
