I like mine. What are you planning on putting it on?

On older cars like my Charger the hotter, multiple sparks of the 6AL greatly improve startup, idle quality and lower rpm speeds. Those multiple sparks don't apply after 2,000 rpm though, so it loses its affect at that point. For newer cars like Mustangs, they don't need a separate component to help startup, idle quality or lower rpm speeds. Unless you're running alot of mods and/or forced induction I can't imagine a multi-spark box can be of any help...

With your mods it would be a waste of money. Wait till you need to upgrade the ignition like when you get a supersharger but even then the the COP ignition is very good by itself.

you should look into the spark booster. i forget the exact name i think its called the plasma booster. that would be way more benefical then the msd.

I don't know about them being a waste...

Since our cars seem to have an affliction for going through COP's, and Coils, I think it'd be a decent idea to get something to help propagate better Spark energy... Now, does one of these destroy the life expectancy of a COP or a Coil, I don't know.. I'd think it wouldn't, since you're increasing the efficiency of the spark...

It won't really help your performance as it stands, but if you were to get FI, it'd be worth it's weight in gold IMO..

MSD-6AL is 3k rpm for multi-spark...the same as the STOCK ignition on a PI 4.6L. In fact, they seem to have very similar specs if you read 'em.
