VERY VERY BAD NEWS
Well I live in El Paso TX and if you dont know anything about the area we dont get much rain at all!! but it turned out that yesterday it decided to rain. and i'm not talking rain i'm talking about flash flooding no visibilty so i'm comming from down town and stuck in traffic and where i am on the freeway it is flooding and water is rising way to quickly as i start driving the car it completly dies i turn the key and CLICK CLICK i was stuck the news showed up and helped me move my car out of the way and as the camera watched me push the car in the rain well it turns out way too much water got into the engine from the fender well cold air intake and sucked up way to much water it hydrolocked the engine i snapped the rod as the piston went up for compression so after doing all my PI swap now i gotta take out the block and repair that one piston

yea i would replace all but seroiously i got no money after all i spent in full PI swap and porting the good thing is is that my mechanic has the extra rod and piston and is gonna give it to me and all he is charging is for the labor and gaskets which in total is gonna come out to $495

sorry bro, that is just one of those things that is a freak occurance. Will your insurance cover it? i have never seen a snorkel intake for a mustang, but sounds like you coulda used one..

That sucks man.. but hey you might not be as bad off as you think.... i had a friend here in Fl that happened to, and his insurance covered it, his deductable was $50.00 and he got a brand new engine for it, with new engine warranty from Ford. I don't know what kind of coverage you have and what not, but thats what happened to him. That's the actual reason I don't have a fenderwall intake, here in Fla, or anywhere where it rains a lot.
