Default Placing battery in trunk to improve traction?

Do you guys thinks that placing the battery in the trunk with a trunk mount kit will improve my traction any or is it not worth the hassle?

yes it will improve traction a little, it also helps to get some of that weight out of the front end. Don't buy a kit, rig one yourself. It isnt that hard and you can do it for cheap.

steeda has one for $199.95 they say the following "Relocate your battery to the trunk for more traction and better handling. Steeda tested it on their 4-wheel digital scale and found that moving a 35 pound battery from the left front of the car to the right side of the trunk actually put 60 more pounds on the right rear tire - where you need it most for traction. Better weight distribution also reduces "nose dive" during braking and improves handling response. Kit includes battery box, cables & all necessary hardware."

not to hijack the thread but is it better racing on a full tank or 1/2 tank, 1/4 tank. I only ask this because i was thinking of the weight you add to the back.

well id say that 1/4 a tank is best because of the weight loss.
