What a pain in the a$$!!
For almost a year my shaker system was not hooked up because I installed a SC. So I ordered the adapter kit from CDC but guess what? it does not really come with what you need to convert plus the cooling fluid tank is in the way as well. So a few days ago I decided to tackel the issue and get in done. I made myself a new coolant tank and started to relocate the intake. I had to extend all the wiring and hoses etc. Also the shaker is full of holes which would let in a lot of dirty. So I had to plug all of these of as well. And the air filter which comes with the conversion kit was mediocre at best and had to be redone. But all in all I think it looks decent. Just as a pointer for anyone who wants to attempt it, be ready for a lot of improvising. I attached a few pictures because there are some members on the board who were interested how it's done. But again what a pain in the neck!

RE: What a pain in the a$$!!
The only concern I had that it will restrict the airflow because it looks kind of small. But as it seems it works just fine and I guess the SC will increase the airspeed. And I used partially the old intake to fabricate the tubing from the airfilter to the SC. I used the same MAF. The rest from the SC to the intake manifold is the same.

Despite the fact that my shop is just beside the Race Track (Las Vegas) I didn't go on to the strip yet but I checked a couple of times with my gforce and I ran just around 13. Right now I'm building my intercooler and problably next week I should be done with it. Then I think it's definatly time to check out my 1/4 mile times. I let you know how it went.
