That manifold would be OK for 10% of the guys here at best. Single plane, good for 7500rpm's! The motor would not start to make power until 5K probably. We need something like the Edelbrock RPM series manifolds. My opinion anyways. Maybe now Edelbrock will finally make a decent set of heads for the 4.6. mark

I wasn't saying it's the greatest for us at all. He wanted to know about it, so I told him. I shift at 5800-5900 when I'm on it at WOT. So 7500 RPMS wouldn't do us good at all, we'd be buying more than a manifold if we shifted that high. KABOOM

Hey all is cool and thanks for the link for the manny. As for mellwoyellow that mani would slow your car by at least .5 or maybe even a second off 1/4 mile times. David_K would have more need/use for that manni as he races his mustang and can keep the revs up over 5000 rpm's but for us street guys it would not work. It would also like big cams also. Single planes are for racing. Even Edelbrock changed the runners on their Torkers to a different design a few years back as the original torker waas performing so poorly on the street. When it got into it's rpm range it pulled very hard but not many run up to the Torker II's 6500 recommended power range. Edelbrock makes a manifold for Cadillacs but can't make one for the 4.6/5.4, what's up with that? This forum has what, 20,000+ members? Edelbrock even makes a manifold for AMC's and Cadillacs!
As for heads they are basically Chevy applications.
I read in another thread today of a head being designed that will be relased to the public in the not to distant future that will add 20HP.
It was either $300. or $600. Sorry I read so many I forgot which price was correct but if I find it I will add those here also. mark
