well, my stepdad and his friend work at muffler man, i can get flow 50's and an x pipe for bout 300, and they will install for beer i just thought it woulda been better to get a prefabbed setup, but alot of you guys had good thoughts on it i will prolly just go that route, my car isnt drivin in snow at all, and very very rarely in rain, its a convert so i stick to nice days, i should be fine without headers for now and a custom setup, i was just worried that it would be raspy, would hate to have a stang sound like a 4banger

even raspy 8s sound 312498123498 times better than 4 bangers.

trustme, doing a custom exhaust setup with better mufflers and a better midpipe will not leave you disappointed

sounds like you'd be getting a deal too

Referring to my thread "Exhaust Advice". I wouldn't put the cheap Flowtech because they aren't coated, just painted. Going to be rusting out soon. Flows instead of the SLP would put you around 850-900. BBK is better if you have a manual, I can't use them because I'm auto. Take a look at my combo I found in my thread. You might like.

Another thing to look out for is to ask if they can weld you up a Flange for future use. This could cost a little bit more, since it's a sort of involved process, but look at it like this:

If you flange the Catback now (if you decide to get new tail pipes/extension pipes from muffler to Mid-pipe), when you get a mid-pipe, if you don't have one of those made either, it should bolt up pretty well..

You may want to make sure the measurements are right though from the mid-pipe to the extension pipe. There's a little bit of flex there, so it's not absolutely important..

Plus, having it flanged means it's easier to work on your car "down the road," since you won't have to pull the entire system off to get at things like the transmission, or the rear suspension components..
