Default Exhaust Advice

Trying to get exhaust for my 02, GT, Auto, Convt.
Headers - Flowtech ceramic coated $382.99-Summitracing
X-pipe - Hooker X-pipe for auto's $149.95-Summitracing
Cat-back- SLP LM $427.45-LMPerformance
Total -$960.39

Will all of these components fit together, are these good prices, and are these decent parts for a lightly modded car?

yea it should all bolt right up. but me personally i think flowmasters have one of the best sounds out there. im not a big fan of the slp lm. good luck though. if i could make one suggestion though, go with bbk headers.

Yeah I really wanted the BBK but they don't fit auto tranny's. I will seriously consider the flowmasters. I just picked SLP because they are supposed to flow really well, but I agree flowmaster has the better sound. Thanks for the advice.

im glad u told me that. i honeslty had no clue. yea i have heard the slps and im not too fond of em, i think its just cuz theyre tooo loud for me. i like the throaty deep but loud at the same time exhaust. to sum it up, i like the (hey check it out, HOT GIRLS, dude rev ur engine, vroom vroom, and the girls look and go, hello boys!!!!!) exhaust.

have u noticed that u can't hardly make an LS1 sound near as clean as a mustang? my roomate is a GM tech, hates mustangs, and agrees that for some reason mustang exhaust sound > LS1...

I've got a magnaflow catback and it sounds amazingly clean yet deep. I pulled up to a 99-00 GT yesterday with flowmasters, it sounded really good, but i hear the chambers inside that cause the rumble actually inhibit the airflow. Magnaflow is just a straight shot through it and uses fiberglass around the inside for its sound.
