nitrous will be the cheapest, but you will like a blower better.

Nitrous= 150 hp = $600 = good gas mileage

Cams, heads, full exhaust, gears, etc.= 150 hp = $3500 = gas guzzler

Im usually always preaching against nitrous on a stock motor but what the hell. They say you can do a 150 shot safely.

Could my car handle a supercharger? If so, how bad is it on gas?

Any car can handle a supercharger. You just have to be modest and not jack the boost through the roof. Go 6 psi on any supercharger (KB, Procharger, Vortech) and you will be making a nice 300 horsepower and not straining the engine in any serious way. Where you will get into trouble is with the "Well... maybe 7 psi wouldnt hurt. Or 8. Probably 9 would be okay. Well, maybe 10. Or 11." THATS how you blow the motor.

Well, that and missing a shift at redline and burying the needle

Gotta say, while I've never had nitrous, I am not a fan; I dont like the idea of a power adder that isnt there any time you need it...

Well I have an automatic, so how would the supercharger handle that as compared to a manual?
