my car in the shop getting 4.10s put in and i should pick it up here in an hour or 2. im excited, i need to get soem mickey thomspon drads so i can i can get some good times, i ran a 13.7 at 105.59 with my mods below without 4.10s so hopefully these 4.10s and drags will get me way lower

13.7 with that 100 shot?? Ouch, I am hoping to run high 12's with a 100 wet

^^^ i know i was hoping for high 12s two, but i couldnt hook up for anything i was spinning all the way down the 1/8. mayeb it was because the track was real slick for all the people with drags getting water all ova the track, but i was so mad a 13.7 with all these mods except 4.10s. i will be trying again here with some new tires...

weld the axle tubes if you use slicks.

FRPP gears are known to be easier to install and create less gear whine.

And after you get traction under control.....start saving for axles and a new carrier. I prefer the Eaton.
+1 fpr the eaton. I need a new carrier too. the eaton has 4 clutches in it instead of three which means more traction and its can last through a lot more punishment. You should look into new upper and lower control arms. Really keeps those tires where they should be. With drag tires and stock rear parts it puts A LOT of stress on the rear end and the u joint etc. But even drag radials have enough give to be no big deal. Full on race drags is when you have to worry becuase think about it. You slip the clutch at 4000 rpms or whatever thinking you have a world of traction and it actualy does hook up. Thats all that power binding in your rear end with no way to escape right away. Its really hard on your rear end.
