Well i went to go to work and my car wouldnt start all i heard was the clicking sound.So i replaced the battery and then it started up fine,but when i am driving around and i stop and my rpms go below 1000 the battery light comes on.Next day the new battery goes out so i replace it again, and now its doing the same thing.I need some help on what it could be.

alternator maybe? loose connection somewhere? maybe even a short?

got my money on the alternator

turn you engine on, while the car is running, disconnect the positive cable on the battery. if the car dies then you have a bad alternator is bad. your car should run while the positive cable is off. good luck
