depends on you and if you have the tools to do a engine swap...just the h/c/i swap is basic tools and anyone can do it...the entire engine while easier if you know what your doing can be too much for a novice.

neither is really easy for novices, even shops. the modulars are so cramped in the mustang, making it almost manditory to lift the engine when doing a head swap.

all in all the H/C/I is probably easyest, still not as easy as a 5.0, but definetly worth it on the old 4.6s

well i did the timing without any issues and thats just short a few bolts of a headswap,

Engine swap is easier, of course I've never did the head swap. Got it down to 12 hours to swap out the engine.

what all do you need for the motor swap because i found a 2003 gt motor with 25000 miles and it $1300
