Where can I find a good quality shift kit for my auto Stang? what else can I do to harden the shifts between each gear?

Trans go seems pretty good. I do have one installed. You can also thight your shift points with a custom chip like a Revolution or Diablo chip. The transgo kit is somewhere around $130.00 and takes a few hours to install.

I remember hearing bad things about TransGo. Are there others?

Go to ebay and search "4r70w" and you will see several. I believe there are even some for $50 shipped.

Get a PA valve body from jegs, much easier and simpilar to install then a transgo kit. less chances of having something go wrong. works great and not that expensive.

^^^ I just checked those out. They are way more than trans-go shift kits. Is there a better place to get them?

Well, I believe a valve body is basically what a shift kit changes. They should almost do the same thing. Does anyone know how much a shop would charge for a shift kit install?
