correction

not all 4.6 motors are dual overhead cam motors, thats the cobra. the base mustang gt is SOHC.

the 5.0 and 4.6 are about the same strength, i'd give the 4.6 a lil more longetivity.

either be old school, or new age =O

Oops, my bad. ackuric is right

5.0 is easier to work on and alot cheaper, its hard to walk to your mailbox without trippin on a 302 cam, i would pick a 302 anyday, but i got a 4.6

For those of you talking about 99-04 I know that they are the bomb. But being a highschool student and going into senior year I just don't have the cash to pay for one (cheapest I can find in my area is about 9 grand). The 94-98s are cheaper and seeing as the 5.0 will be easier to mod and have better performance I don't see why I wouldn't get it over the 4.6.

plus one, get the 5.0...and you can't beat the sound of a 5.0 (p.s. get slp lm1 catback)

get a 95 it has the same engine has the foxbodys, just a nicer interior and exterior. You should be able to find a decent one for around $5000 or maybe less

The 95 has a different interior from the 94 or from the foxbodys? Any difference between the 94 and 95?

me personally i think both motors have their strong points. ive seen 5.0s pushin some crazy numbers. i luv my 4.6, but if i were u then i would go with the 95. but either way good luck. peace

I searched autotrader and cars and ebay and didn't find one in my area with miles under 100,000 for the price I wanted.

i had to drive 500 miles for my bronco. it was a bitch but it was worth it. check the newspaper, and sometimes goin from dealership to dealership works too.
