Default king cobra clutch

Anyone have a king cobra clutch? What do you like about it? Is this a good product?

I have it. Smooth normal operation, tight holding when you rail on it. great step up from stock. I believe it's great for everything except forced induction which I don't have.

It can be got anywhere for $200 or less to your door

Replace or resurface the flywheel when you put it in though!!!

Suppose to be smoother and a lighter pedal than stock. Grabs better/faster than stock. Good for those 2nd gear burns off the line!! A descent product for the price. Good for those bolt on people. You'd wanna go with a stage 2 or better for s/c or modded motors. The more grabbing power you've got for everyday driving, the faster you burn it up because it's not made for that stuff. Like dual friction centerforce or stage 3 clutches. They are very good, but only for modded strip cars. I had a Centerforce Dual and it was the smoothest ever, but I burned it up in like 20kmi of everyday driving!

Hmmm, wait so ur saying a more advanced clutch is gonna get worn out with normal driving? That doesn't make sense to me. I dont do a whole lot of track, in fact, barely any. Its my daily driver but I like to open it up and have some occasional races of course. But I'd like to get a stronger clutch for launches etc... but I do do a ton of normal driving. Is the king cobra a good choice?

Dude... the clutches that grab more are like a stickier tire. You get bada$$ grip, but it has to come from a more wearable material.

example on my king cobra. Today I left my g/f house pissed. I launched like a bat out of hell, and that king cobra grabbed like a mother through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (as far as I ripped to about 90 mph)

It's a great all around clutch. Unless you are a hardcore racer, don't go too much higher. I'd say get the King cobra, you will be very pleased with it!

Ya I just ordered a King Cobra Clutch because my TOB went bad. My buddy has one and after driving his I thought it felt a ton better than then the stock clutch, plus it can hold 40% more torque making it good to something like 400 ft/lbs I think...it's too early to be doing math.
