the middle number is the percentage of the tires width in milimeters. so a 285/35/18 is 11.2 inches wide, and each sidewall is 3.9 inaces tall. So if you multiply the sidewall height by 2 and add the rim diameter it will give you the diameter of the tire. Now remember there is a difference between the diameter we calculated and rolling diameter. Rolling diameter is going to be slightly larger.

I think I will do 265/35/18 FRONT and 305/35/18 BACK.

I plan on getting a blower also and I like the look of the wider tire in the back.

you NEED to go with 275/40/18 front and 315/35/18 in the rear, if you go the same height front back your rear tires will be shorter due to the percent width or 40 on a 275, so 40% of the width of a 275 tire will be x inches tall, the rear will be 35% of 315 wide, this will keep your tire height even all around, UNLESS, you want the rear tire height to be greater than the fron, a slight rake if you will, haha

im an idiot on 18's you may have to go with 275/35 front and ummmmm try the 315/30 rear, this what a buddy of mine says he installs tires at costco, hes a PROFESSIONAL haha
