RE: What size tires would be nice for these rims
i would do 275/40/17 all the way around. this way you can rotate your tires. if you go with a wider tire out back you cant rotate your tires and then you will go through tires alot faster. just my .02 cents

im a complete neube when it comes to tires what does the middle # mean? ex. 275/?/17.

second number tire hight
last number rim size.
get atleast 305's in the back. either 275's up frong or 245's. if you get 275s on a 10 inch rim, the rim will stick out farther then the tire. that can be very bad when you accidently hit a curb. and i dont think its worth it to get a couple more hundred miles out of your tire. do it right the first time. on my 17's i have 275s on my 9 inch rim up front and 315's in the rear on my 10.5 inch rim

on the 18x9 i would go with a 245/40/18 on the rears i would go with a 285/35-40/18.
the middle number is the percentage of the tires width in milimeters. so a 285/35/18 is 11.2 inches wide, and each sidewall is 3.9 inaces tall. So if you multiply the sidewall height by 2 and add the rim diameter it will give you the diameter of the tire. Now remember there is a difference between the diameter we calculated and rolling diameter. Rolling diameter is going to be slightly larger.

i'd go with...245-265/35/18 front...295-315/35/18 rear
I made the mistake of getting 275 on the rear (18x10) and I've hit the curb twice and really scratched it up...
get at least 295...maybe 305-315 if ur pushing more then 300hp...
small tires up front are better...so I'd go with 245...and most people only hit the curb with there rear, unless there total morons...
