Default boom backpressure!

hey guys i was on the highway the other day n i was racing an sts caddy n i was shifting at 6200 n all of a sudden booom it was the loudest backpressure ive ever heard

its neva done that b4 however i just want to know if u guys eva got backpressure like that before n should i just ignore it>?

it sounded like my car blew a head gasket or sotin but it was only packpressure have ur cars eva done that

It back fired. Backpressure is the resistance by mufflers and cats to leave the motor. Backfiring is usually caused by a load of gas in the higher rpms and exiting through the exhaust valve, or something along those lines.

Yea, the backfiring is because of you lack of cats and the straight pipes that you have.
