I am looking at getting exhaust put on my stang. I have heard to go with 0/r h-pipes. What else should I get with the midpipes to realy give my car that Mustang roar?

you are going to get alot of mixed opionions with this question but imo i went with 2 chamber flows bbk shorties and i will be adding a o/r mid pipe (H) will give a more roar...

I have stock manifolds, mac o/r H and welded in flows and it screams on WOT but cruising it's pretty suttle


everyone who isn't into cars says it sounds loud. Everyone who IS into cars, says it sounds bada$$


i'll eventually put a full cat-back on it when I get the $ but I bought it with the weld ins

Id suggest you wait till you are sure what type of headers you want on your car then start from there.

i deffinatly like the o/r h pipes. of course other than that i dont know what else to get. I would like to have a full exhaust system. I like the flowmasters. Any ideas what to get??

ive got flows, bbk xpipe and bbk LT's, and i have never had one complaint about my exhaust. but the main thing is I LUV IT. im real traditional so ill go with flowmaster everytime. i like bassani, magnaflow sounds pretty good too. between H or X, thats all in opinion. whatever u like, just know that either way itll sound damn good.

Im deffinatly looking for a nice deep loud sound......however; THis is the first mustang I ahve ever owned. I bought it used....99 gt. I was next to a mustang similar to mine. Looke a little newer, but same model. I noticed that mine had a much deeper and a bit louder sound. I could barley hear his. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do I tell if I already have any type of aftermarket exhaust on my stang. All I have done soe far is put in a K&N filter and remove the silencer. Car got a little deeper/louder.....but still had a good rumble before the mod.
