Default Anyone know about this mod??

I heard there was a little mod you can do to help your rpm's from hanging for so long. I know it has something to adding a gasket or piece of metal with a smaller hole in it, to the IAC, i think.......I may be way off so can anyone ellaborate?

yea you have to make a gasket with a smaller hole in it to restrict some of the air from the IAC

it looks like this:

You can also have it tuned ask your tuner about setting the dashpot.

i saw my buddy do it, he used a really thin piece of aluminum. use the iac gasket as a template and trace it onto the sheet metal (including all the holes) and cut it out. you might have to do a little trail and error to find the ideal size for the air hole so it lets in just enough air but not too much

I think i will order that one off od ebay.....seems like it would cost close to that to buy gasket maker, and make it myself.

I just hope it will work with my car.
