what do you need for the pi swap, friend wants to sell me his pi intake manifold and heads and stock 02 gt cams. What else would i need to do this? But i dont know if my dad will let me do this. Are there any downsides to this ? My dad said something about it would mess it up because i would be rebuiling the top half of the motor and the bottom would be stock , i dunno maybee he just doesnt want me to get it. The pi intake manifold , and heads and cams have about 20-30,000 miles on it, my car has about 85,000 miles.
Help me out, thanks

You will need a head change kit it wouldn't be a bad idea to get the whole gasket kit. $$$ spendy though. You will need to change your heater hose..... A lot of people complain it raises c/r so you can't run boost. You can still run boost in small amounts with a good tune.

i thought that i too might burn oil or something with doing the pi swap but i have no problems. it runs like a champ. my engine had 140k miles on it and i bought brand new pi heads and intake manifold. so you shouldn't have to worry about anything.
