you dont need to rebuild your engine at all if you run 9-10 psi with a KB with a good tune. if you need proof go to modularpowerhouse.com
Yeah, the KB for our cars is pointless unless you're going to rebuild your engine and get a 2.2 kit. Its not at all worht the money, unless you have lots to spend needlessly

Here is a good example of the difference..
Its my car going up against an 04 w/ the Eaton (twin screw, root style).. If you pay attention you see that even though I am pushing more HP he pulls in 1st & some of 2nd.. Its not untill we get into 3rd & 4th and both cars sit at a higher RPM longer that I start to pull pretty good..
The 40 rolls show me pulling.. From a dig (he had DRs and I didn't, and I have since added them) you see him beat me on that last race.. Up to the camera he is in front.. After the camera I blow past him, which is when I was in about 3rd and going into 4th.. Either way, I still think he will pull at least a car on me from a dig..
This video just helps to show you root style blowers give you more lower end.. Centri give you more on the top end of your gears.. 1st & 2nd gears are geat for root style because you go thew the RPMs so fast.. 3rd & 4th gear are the money gears for centri style blowers..
Me and Yellow are gonna run the cars again sometime soon now that I have a set of DRs.. In this video I was having MAJOR traction issues.. 1st and most of 2nd were pure spin for me.. It wasn't until the top of 2nd I would catch traction from a dig but by that time he had a good 2 cars on me..
