on a stock 17x8 rim id honestly say it would be dangerous and pushing it to go any bigger than 275/40/r17s. But everyone's got their own opinion. It just puts too much stress on the side walls. . . I went from 245/45/r17 to 275/40/r17 and my whole life changed. Traction was no longer as much of an issue to say the least plus it looks cool . .
