I'm not even clear about what this whole arguement is about...
VT clearly does sell cams, and they aren't comp cams, and they aren't crower cams. They are VT cams. Me and my buddy put stage II N/A cams from VT in his 98 GT. They make good cams.
Maybe you're right that VT gets its cams from someone else, I don't know, but the grinds are theirs, whether they do it in-house or not.

OH BTW, 97 stanger, the setup you're talking about is the EXACT same setup I'm gonna be ordering in the next couple months. Great minds think alike, huh? Haha.
The only thing I'm pondering right now is if I should just save for a little while longer and search for a cobra engine of some sort. Buy that, then a little while down the road throw a supercharger on it. I dunno. Keep me posted on how the swap is coming along.
