Default Cold air intakes

what brands work best? Do the type that go into the fender well get as much air being hid...or is it better to have one open to the engine compartment? I know colder air is more dense but it looks like the fender could cause restriction...where as the open type in the engine compart ment are more open and in the air. i'd like to add a bigger throttle body and intake plenum as well. what brands seem to work best together or what is proven to add most power? Any help would be greatly appriceated. Thanx

JLT...period, for CAI and if you want "bling, bling" Accufab...if you just want the performance, C&L plenum and BBK 75mm TB. Oh and BTW, back to the CAI....."I" prefer the CAI to be upen to the engine compartment (with a heat shield), due to the fact that you don't want any bends before the MAF.
