I will go with a C&L plenum and BBK TB because I have read good things about the C&L. The C&L plus 75mm BBK Tb can be had for $299. from RPMOUTLET. Mark

bought them from a guy used, accufab 75mm t/b and c&l plenum
Can't go wrong with the Accufab TB/Plenum setup. BBK on the other hand can (and I mean can, not always) have issues.

I have professional products had no problems with install everythign went great although it might not be the best brand like soem say I would put it in the middle of all of them and for the money you pay you can't go wrong with nearly the same hp gains in the end. Just my .02

exactly the Professional Products has the polished finish just like accufab and its $200 less for the plenum & tb then the accufab i dont see why people will pay 200 more for "maybe" 2-3 horse in the end, but who knows

I've got a Professional Products intake and TB, ported (ground away any bumps and casting defects) and polished the living S#$T out of the inside. I installed it and wow, the difference was amazing! I'm sure I've got the HP gains of the Accufab at half the money. The TB works perfect, no idle hangs, no stiffness, For $225. for both pieces, it's a steal. You don't need a ton of money getting the best parts, use common sense and a little elbow grease. On a typical engine, port matching can gain you 5 hp. We did it all the time in the 70's. Get yourself a dremel or die grinder.

BBK $110

You should do a write up on your p&p job. I had the same idea, but don't know what tools to use. I imagine dremel, but what wheels/stones did you use?
