After market Exhaust Help
Hey guy i have a bone stock 98 GT and it needs an exhaust. Now I very interested in the new system the SLP has to offer for mustangs the "loudmouth" that all those f bodies have. its supposed to give lots of power and sound Sick. I also LOOOOOVEEEE the sound of an MAC off road h-pipe and some FlowMasters but i know flowmaster doesnt produce power but i love the sound. what do you think i should do??

Magnaflow catback. No ifs ands or butts. Here is a post: https://mustangforums.com/tm.asp?m=160758
There is a car with a set of stock exaust manifolds, a bbk o/r X, and a magnaflow catback here: its under magnaflow

That car sounds about like mine, its a bit differnt with the headers.

Yes Flowmasters have a very sweet sound to them, which is why I have them on my 4.6. I wouldn't put them on a big power car because they are more restrictive than other mufflers, but I love them on Mustangs. I suggest getting a couple of the new Super 40 Flowmasters because they are supposed to flow a lot better than the original 40 series mufflers and have a deeper more muscular sound. I've never heard them in person so I couldn't say for certain. H-pipes have a deeper sound to them and will produce slightly more torque, and an X-pipe will give you better top end but sound a bit different. Go with the MAC H-pipe and some Super 40's and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
