Hey Stang lovers,
Im lookin to get my first Stang really soon. I dont have that big of a budget. I want to get a 04 cobra but I would have no money left for mods. I would also like to get a 05 mustang gt but also I might not have enough money for any mods. I was looking at a 2004 mustang gt- Sonic Blue. I was thinking of getting that for a good deal and then having money left over for mods and possibly turbo in the future. Do u guys like the 04 or 05 body style better? What do u guys think?

Man that vid makes me want to go home and drive my Cobra.
One last thing though. You need to have a budget of about $800 - $1000 a month for payment, insurance, tire fund (one set per year), oil, gas (premium only!!!), TAG STICKER ( $300 the first year), ect.
No that does not include mods that you WILL want to do.
Something to consider.

cobra... I think the 03/04 cobra will forever be thought of as one of the best mustangs.
In 50 years it'll be like having a 1970 Hemi Cuda.
buy your cobra now, and it'll be worth a million in 2054

Yeah but with 300,000 miles. The only cobras worth money are the ones that are flawless. Then again look at the old gt500's. Doesnt matter what condition its in a GT500 is a GT500. Haha ok heres a story. A really good buddy of mine's brother saw in add in the paper for an old late 70's mustang "make me an offer" and so he went to look at it and it was this old lady. Her husband use to own the car but he passed away and it was sitting in their barn under a dusty and dirty car cover. He pulled off the cover blew away the dust and it was a 67 gt500 with 4,000 on the speedo. Mint condition. He offered her 10 grand and she thought it was too much but he insisted and took the car which (after it was cleaned and little shine and touch up paint) auctioned at something like 70,000. Nice little investment if you ask me.
