These motors are good up to around 25psi, or 650rwhp.. or so... What are you looking to spend? THey have some cherry terminators for sale, and i know of a few guys selling em in texas on svtperformance

I don't understand why you are looking for a Cobra with a blown engine. Are you sure you didn't misunderstand your friend when he said buy a 03/04 blown cobra Because these engines are supercharged or sometimes referred to as a blown engine. Why not just buy a car with a good engine beat the **** out of until you blow it and than rebuild it. I don't understand your logic here.

Good luck about that.. my advice - get yourself a Stock one if you can find it. Most of the stock ones haven't been raped on... Just get it checked out, and you'll be fine..

well i thought bout it anyway insurance would kill me, so i think im gonna keep my 5.0 and maybe trade my ranger in and buy a 96-98 cobra

Yea it might be cheaper, but it's not going to be cheap enough to off set the engine build costs. Remember it always cheaper to buy somthing that is already done than to buy and finish sombody elses project.
